The Victorian Government has identified Broadmeadows as one of 10 new “Activity Centres.” The state government plans to add 60,000 homes to 10 established suburbs. This aims to be achieved through a thorough review of building heights and design requirements, and changes to existing rules.
The government stated these Activity Centres were chosen for their “potential to accommodate more homes while ensuring access to vital amenities such as train stations, tram services, town centres, job opportunities, and public services.”

Broadmeadows is well supported by ammenities, with strong public transport links, parks, various schools and retail precincts.

Kingslea is proud to be leading the way in Broadmeadows, creating 154 new homes.
The government is now seeking feedback on its suburban housing plan which will also guide investment in community facilities, public spaces and parks. Community consultation is underway for the initial 10 established suburbs.
